So I know you can do an 80 build of multiple types such as ARs, Glock, 10/22, and sig but is there a list somewhere that shows every type of receiver that has an 80% version. I just learned you can get an 80% Uzi and now I’m curious what other types have 80% receivers. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

There is no list because “80%” really just means “unfinished to the point that it’s not a gun”. And unfinished receivers have been made for pretty much everything and in a variety of forms.

I mean I assume by 80% Uzi you mean an unbent flat. But there’s also receiver repair sections that you can use to make a receiver. I’ve seen repair sections and unfinished components for all sorts of things, from tube guns to MG 42s. Many of them require welding, including the Uzi.

everything starts as a 0% and then machining is done to it to bring the percentages up to 100% so if you stop the process at 80% complete, you have an 80% receiver. It no more difficult than that. the problem is can an average person buy an 80% and would they have the commonly available tools to finish it. I mean you can make several firearm receivers from a shovel. Does that mean a shovel is a 0% receiver? No; it’s a shovel. where the 80% point is depends on who at the ATF you talk to since there’s no hard fast rule.

If someone could magically make an 80% sig mcx blank appear that would be cool

With the exception of the 1911 you’ve pretty much named them all already. There really aren’t that many guns with 80% lowers on the market.

There are other guns like AKs, Stens, CETMEs, and other kit built guns that you can make at home too but that’s not really an 80% build and they’re typically quite a bit more work than an actual 80% reciever. The UZI would fall into this category too, BTW. Building one of those is nowhere near as simple as hogging out an AR lower with a router.

There is no percentage it’s either a receiver or it’s not.
