I’m looking into getting an AR chambered in 9 mil. My budget is $700 (please don’t go more than $100 above because my ambition is to afford food) I live in Texas so don’t worry about a shit ton of legal documents.

I’m looking for something highly upgradable and a barrel shorter than 18in.
I plan on using it mainly for competitive purposes and want it to have a little flair if you catch my drift. If I fucked up on specifying what I want feel free to ask as many questions as needed.
