Assembly question

Just finished up a build and I am noticing that I cant set the weapon to SAFE unless the trigger is “cocked” or in the ready to fire position. I tried cutting 3-4 coils off of the safety detent spring which didn’t really help. Everything is well oiled.

When trigger is in the fired position, the safety selector will spin about half way towards the safe position and stop

Any ideas on a resolution?
