Hey everyone, my family are hunters but I’ve never really gotten into it. I’ve always been into music and creative sorts of things.
Anyway, as I approach my 30th birthday, I’m finding myself more and more interested in hunting. I’m not interested in trophy hunting but I want to be able to feed my family for a year with the deer or other animals I kill.
I want to bow hunt because I’m a convicted felon and I cannot own firearms. I have read stories and heard stories about the adrenaline rush you get with your first kill and I want to feel that!
Anyway, advice time. Compound or cross?
What are the learning curves for either? Is either more accurate than the other? Which one requires
More skill and a steady hand? And any other advice you have to give.
I’ve been looking at cross bows for the last week and I’m finding Excalibur is the best but also the most expensive. Tenpoint has really nice bows for very cheap but the main complain is that they’re loud. And someone recommended Killer Instinct for a first bow.
