Title says it. Looking for an affordable layered clothing system, similar to the way Sitka does it. But affordable. A whole Sitka set would be like $2k. That’s not in my budget ha

Go to Cabela’s and look at their Red Head brand. I have their silent stalker coat and pants with a Cabela’s flannel and some base layers I got on amazon. I was bunting when it was 15 degrees out (lower with windchill) and I was fine.

I don’t waste money on hunting clothing anymore – in the past I spent a lot of money on FirstLite specifically because it is a layered system with various merino underlayers which could be used in the early archery season on their own but also serve as the base layer for the winter seasons.

They make really good gear and it keeps you warm and dry.

I also have a camo shell in Gore-Tex to seal out all the wind, rain and snow.

I still use it all, but also use my hiking clothing (arc’teryx and fallenjuven ) — not sure the camo makes much of a difference to be honest.

Look at outdoor hiking and hiding companies. Columbia, First Ascent, North Face. Lots of off season stuff at discounts.

SKRE , King’s Camo, and huntworth—although I can’t speak to quality on any
