So, first time bow hunter here. I was up in my stand and heard something behind me. I turn around and there’s this doe walking 11 yards to my left side, broadside, no obstructions in the way. Heart rate skyrockets to like 170, tunnel vision, shaking, I draw back, take the shot with my 20 yard pin and completely miss, the arrow lands like a foot and a half below the deer. This is not 1 hour after I was landing 40 yard shots in the yard on my target with ease. I have never been so mad in my entire life. I’m starting to wonder if the deer was even there at all, maybe I just imagined the whole thing.
