I am familiar with the break action style examples but is there any even semi modern bolt action models?

With enough duct tape you can make all of your dreams come true

Well there are mountable shotguns that can go under a AR barrel. [Here’s the military version](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/M26_Modular_Accessory_Shotgun_System)

You will run into some legal grey areas, for instance you can’t detach one underneath a rifle, but you might be able to attach something like a Shockwave underneath an AR pistol.

There have been experiments like the crossfire mk 1 308 and 12 gauge combo rifles, but those failed.

I think the problem is really the justification for combo rifles is in a hunting or survival setting, and break action just makes the most sense.

if you have enough money you can get anything made 🙂 the ones i found (see below) are all same caliber doubles but i’m sure you could get them to do different rounds in each barrel.

[Szecsei & Fuchs Double Barrel Bolt Action](https://auctions.morphyauctions.com/_M__Innovative_Szecsei___Fuchs_Bolt_Action_Dangero-LOT452240.aspx)

the one i found a double barreled 416 rem mag sold for $36K
