    Hydroforming is not a great solution for deepdrawing most steel. It’s super effective for making domes and bulges where the draw length is less than the pressure face diameter. Would be better off using a a more compatible sheet metal like copper.

    IME, grease guns don’t put out a lot of pressure.

    Cases are normally made with a punch-and-die – you run the brass sheet through progressive sets. Unless you’re doing it on an industrial scale its not a high-tech or energy intensive process.

    My only question is, in countries where they have restrictive laws, around shells, I feel like they would have a hard time getting a 3d printer file, or in the case of some countries, even a 3d printer. That being said, I love it when people try and help others get some freedoms back.

    It’s also possible to make shotgun shells out of cardboard/paper.
