CrimsonTrace knockoff optic?

Hi all,
Just built an AR and bought a magpul rear flip up sight to go with the front gasblock sight.
While at the gunstore I bought a loose red dot the owner had laying around for $50. He said he thought it was a crimson trace and it looks allot like a CT1000 sight but its green and red, and has other cosmetic differences.
Can you guys help me ID this optic? I suspect its a chinese knockoff.
