I’ve had a few Benchmades. Good enough knife. I currently carry a Gerber Fastball and like it a lot.

    I carried BM for years.
They are an excellent blade and have great service.
I do suggest staying away from the OTFs though, the system is garbage and fails all the time. At least my infidel and Pagan did.
If you want a folder and are considering a BM stay with the Axis locks.
If you want a OTF that doesn’t fail, buy Microtech.

Gerber Rescue, broken, Benchmade Tactical Triage, broken, now onto Rick Hinderer, fulltrack and XM 18 Skinner, both from Triple Aught Design. So both are Topo. Daily usage, so far, very robust and already put performed both Benchmade and Gerber but also cost over twice as much.

There are many great EDC knives, I prefer Benchmade, ZT and Spyderco. Their HRC blade hardness levels are great and blades stay sharp. Tops knives are the best but pricey for an EDC.

Mainly Benchmade but for work I use CRKT so I don’t worry about breaking a nicer knife
