Posted the image from my phone and I don’t see a way to edit it.

Details. This is from a G22 LE trade in Gen3. I’ve swapped in a new extractor and recoil spring from my G17. That changed the ejection pattern, but did not change the damage to the case.

I borrowed a friend’s G23 Gen4. It marks up the cases similarly, but doesn’t dent them to this extent (edit – doesn’t really dent them at all).

The only thing I have -not- swapped out is the ejector spring/plunger assembly.

    Any suggestions?

Just to add, I do reload, but it does this to factory ammunition as well. Most of the cases can be resized and reloaded, but some have a crease after resizing and fail the plunk test. I also have to wonder if the case mouth will split at that dent.

Make sure you have a .40cal ejector bar. Should say 1882 on it if Gen 3. Or 28926 if it’s Gen 4
