GuestFebruary 23, 2021 at 8:10 pmThose white short grubs on a lead jig will crush the hybrids. I’ve caught them here in Texas and Oklahoma on a ton of those. The only other things I would suggest buying is a few silver spoons with a treble hook. When these fish start chasing shad and blowing up if you cast in a spoon and let it dead fall a few seconds and then rip it back up and repeat you will catch a fish almost every cast if they are there. I caught about 20 once doing that and it was in less than 10 minutes. Pretty much every cast was a fish. Good luck! Those striped suit fish are fun to catch.
