I am considering building my first suppressor using a form 1. This is largely due to wait times and also because I don’t mind doing the work to spend about half as much.
I would like to use a solvent trap or fuel filter. I just can’t decide on what I want or what is good. I would like to build something modular. Probably 9mm for a pistol and MPX I have. So I would need a piston. I “designed” one using solvent traps direct. It was 6″ in short configuration and 8″ in long.
I guess the big question is what to use. What tips do you have? Should I worry about the modular thing? Should I just make both a short and long suppressor (I don’t plan on this being my only suppressor)? Do you have any “plans” for what you did? Maybe what you didn’t like about your build?
Lots of questions… I’m just trying to decide what I want to do and what will actually fit together. Thanks for any help!!!
