So I currently own a Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS that I’ve been using as my carry gun. The only other gun I personally own is an AR15. I’ve been considering getting a new handgun, but I’m restricted in terms of what I’m allowed to carry. Essentially, I’m only allowed to carry Sig Sauer, Glock, and products from the Smith and Wesson MP 2.0 series. I don’t have any interest in getting a Sig and I think it would make more sense to stick with Glock products in general to promote their uniformity and interplay in terms of accessories and what not. Recently, I’ve had a little bit of leftover money from Christmas and some bigger paychecks and I’ve been considering getting something new. I’ve loved my Glock 19 all this time, so I’m not entirely convinced on getting something, but I wanted to see what others thought about the situation.
The options I’ve been considering are as follows. 1. I’ve been considering the Glock 48 as a new carry gun and making my 19 more of a fun gun to customize and do whatever I want with. 2. Alternatively, I have been considering getting a Glock 45 as a new customize/range/whatever else gun and keeping my 19 as my carry gun. I plan on shooting both of these at my range soon, but I’ve been sick and haven’t had a chance to go shooting recently.
Like I said, I’m not entirely convinced I should be spending money on a new gun right now, but I wanted to see if people thought it made more sense to open up new options for carry or do something a little more fun. Alternatively, if there are any other products you would recommend I grab while I can, I will take those suggestions as well. Seeing as how things are currently going in VA, are there any other products that I should look into getting sooner rather than later?
Any and all input is appreciated. Thank you!
