Anyone recommended a decent pair of gloves that aren’t too bulky and let you work with a holstered gun easily? Looking for something that also keeps my hands somewhat warm. Getting cold up here in Michigan and I like to carry when I’m outside.

I wear the SKD Pig Alphas on duty. Great dexterity, can still operate phone, and keeps my hands from freezing. I’m in New England if that helps sell my case 😂

Sounds like you need a Fitz special.

I like Hot Shot Huntsman’s mittens for hunting… has a compartment for handwarmers and a nice leatherish trigger finger

I use the cheapest, thinnest Mechanix gloves for shooting, and they work great. They not the best when it’s super cold, but I’m generally not shooting then either.

Mechanix gloves give me better dexterity than most gloves. I use them for work but also for shooting when it’s really cold outside. I think there’s something on gundeals where you get 30% off with free shipping right now. I picked up a few more pair.

Man up like the the rest of us in the northern Midwest, and give up and stay indoors until spring lol.

I use Husky light and medium duty gloves for shooting. Heavy duty husky gloves will work too if you don’t mind the protective bits on the top of them.

I have two pair of the mechanix original. My first pair was the black and foliage green that they don’t make anymore. They were my moving shit, shooting shit, protecting my hands from shit gloves in the Army from 2015-18. I found them recently after I thought I lost them and bought some new ones in woodland camo. They wear nicely. I find the medium fit average sized hands nice and snug, but I had issue with the glove finger getting jammed under my trigger. Not a real complaint.

I would go with magpul or outdoor research. Way better than mechanix wear. But, more money too.

I’m in texas and use gloves in west texas. I have a pair of magpul technical gloves. I like them. I’d recommend giving them a go.
