I’ve been considering getting my Glock 26.5 stippled but haven’t committed to it mainly because I’m afraid I’ll end up hating it. Has anyone else had the same experience? I just got the granulated grip tape from Talon Grips and I’m not a fan. It’s too aggressive and sticks to my shirt. I’ll probably end up getting the rubberized grip but wanted to get y’all’s thoughts on it.

If you go with a good company, you won’t regret it. She knows out Sonoran Defense. If you go cheap or try to do it yourself, you’ll probably end up regretting it.

I was at a pawn shop yesterday. They had a G19 that someone had either done themselves and did and okay job or paid someone to do it and didn’t get exactly what they paid for. It needed some smoothing and the outside edge was a little off here and there. Personally I’m looking into a laser so I can start doing this for a living and so I won’t have to meet regret until I break something (extended warranty here i come).

If you get it done by a top notch company I don’t see any reason you would regret your decision.

But if you do it yourself like I did and never had a clear plan as to what you were doing, it can be very Meh. It’s better than the stock grip but it’s really not as awesome as I wanted it to be.
