    Cut the buffer tube in half just below the castle nut, remove the castle nut without those pesky threads in the way, then JB weld the two pieces of the buffer tube back together.

    PB blaster and a pipe wrench. Just buy another nut, they are cheap so who cares if you mangle it.

    Put some electrical tape on the teeth of a pair of vise grip channel locks and start cranking. It’s how I get my staked castle nuts off

    You can forget the tape if you don’t care about the nut

    Install the stock on the buffer tube. Stick in between your legs and turn the castle nut….
