the US gun death rate 60% of it is Suicide and the other is done by gangs fighting for turf
the UK has the most Stabbings and Acid Attacks and London is more dangerous then New York City -

Is this really any safer? Canada still has shootings (not as frequent as America), South Africa still has a huge problem with illegal crimes being committed with weapons, and japan…. japan is great..guns are for the wealthy their and they dont have the same freedom as we do, but they have anime and katanas… so you win some and lose some. -
Wait, what? The part about Canada was totally wrong.
1. You don't need to justify why you need a gun beforehand or after. Some stores won't sell you a restricted (Handgun, short rifles, listed AR-type) if you're not in a club or collecting, but otherwise nobody asks for your reason. Even if they do, you don't need any proof. Just listing "Collecting" as the reason for purchasing a 1911 on an online gun store is enough to have the shop register it to you and ship it to your door.2. The safety course and test are both the same step. The course can be as short as 5 hours and instructors will make sure you walk away educated with a passing score.
3. The wait time and background check are also the same. What you're waiting for IS the background check, and it can take as little as 10 days depending on the volume of applications received. Mine took 12 including postage time.
4. You only need to register restricted arms, such as pistols, short-barrel firearms, or the very few listed by name as "restricted" due to use in the military or being universally regarded as easy to convert to fully automatic.
Any Canadian without a violent crime or mental illness on their record can have a gun by the end of the month if they so wished. Most of Canada's gun crime is committed by unlicensed gangsters with illegally imported or stolen firearms, which fell in the hands of criminals due to border control and other LEA not being allowed to perform random checks on suspicious individuals.

In India all gun related deaths happen thru illigal weapons or "gaziyabaadi katta" the poor man's gun.

They mention that the US has 30,000 gun deaths annually. 20,000 of those deaths are from suicide which you cant prevent. 7,000 are from homicide which
6, 000 out of those 7000 are from hanguns. The other 3000 being accidents ect. Only 1000 deaths annually are commited by rifles and not even all of those are AR15s. Cars cause around 80,000 deaths annually. #BANCARS -

it has nothing to do with guns. Criminals will commit crime with ever they can get there hands on. Britian's murder is high and the coward of a leader is calling for knife control. Then what criminals start using bats and rocks, gonna ban those as well? China has mass knife murders on a monthly basis.

just saying gun control does not work. In UK our criminals resort to illegal guns witch sometimes are crudely built causing more damage. Also we have acid attacks and built up a very large Knife culture. I don't know about you but i would prefer to be shot that stabbed or have acid dumped on me. Also i would prefer more armed civilians who know how to protect me and themselves.

Out of the 38,000 67 % are suicides. That still doesn't address that the fact three times more people are killed by drunk driving and regular vehicle accidents involving speeding. But no one is talking about passing laws requiring governors on vehicles or prohibition.

That’s very nice. However, we’re not those countries and owning a gun is a right here. If people agree to wait ten days before speaking or praying or allow the government to torture you for ten days before charging you, then I’ll agree to ten day period before collecting my weapon.
