GuestDecember 11, 2019 at 8:38 pmSorry Iceland, I was hooked until I found out you don't allow any semi auto firearms. It's all firearms or nothing. No compromise.

GuestDecember 11, 2019 at 8:38 pmIceland is a homongenous country. Compare that with America a melting pot of immigration, behavioral sink and high crime. Iceland and Japan are prime examples of how homongenous societies work. America is an example of progressive multiculturalism failing.

GuestDecember 11, 2019 at 8:39 pmThese laws are far too strict and a ban on all semi-auto rifles is ridiculous, yet we tell them this is normal, its not. A truly free country ensures Liberty to all and truly trusts it's citizens with the same rights to every citizen despite stanbing. All men (people) are created equal endowed by there creator with certain unalienable rights…. hopefully one day all the peoples of the earth will enjoy a life if Liberty.

GuestDecember 11, 2019 at 8:39 pmI have a question for the Icelandic sports shooter (or anyone who legitemately knows, this seems hard to Google). Is it true there's a calibre restriction? I want to emigrate and i like range shooting. Can i shoot .223 and .308 in Iceland and own such rifles? Pretty boring if not

GuestDecember 11, 2019 at 8:39 pmYou want the reason? You want the truth? I’ll get banned by YouTube if I say it…. but there’s one main reason..: it’s not because of population. It’s not large vs small country… it’s…. well…. I hate to say it… but Detroit, Atlanta are to the night what Finland Norway and Iceland are to the day

GuestDecember 11, 2019 at 8:39 pmThe difference is Iceland educates its populus. Americans don't understand cause and effect, so they blame minorities and the poor.

GuestDecember 11, 2019 at 8:39 pmNarrator: “unlike in the U.S., it’s not illegal to own semi-automatic weapons”.
Don’t you mean fully automatic firearms? Most handguns are literally semi-automatic.

GuestDecember 11, 2019 at 8:39 pm98% of gun crime happens in gun free states and zones, most is gang-related, Iceland has 300 000 odd people, America has 300 000 000 odd people etc etc. You people are bad at this.

GuestDecember 11, 2019 at 8:39 pmAmerica is a cesspool full of stupid people. Uneducated and ignorant. We hand out guns with no training and education just like we hand out drivers licenses. Prove me wrong, I’ll wait.

GuestDecember 11, 2019 at 8:39 pmYeah, it's weird! People who love guns can do so without being shot! It's almost like guns themselves aren't the issue!

GuestDecember 11, 2019 at 8:39 pmIceland's a Fudd gun culture and their gun laws very restrict than the UK. So, Iceland is NOT for gun lovers but it's for Fudd gun owner.

GuestDecember 11, 2019 at 8:39 pmThe big difference between the US and Iceland is that the living conditions are better in Iceland. And of course the process of getting guns. I think it’s certainly possible for people to own semi automatic rifles as long as we change the process in which people get guns and improve living conditions.

GuestDecember 11, 2019 at 8:39 pmSince the article references St. Louis and its high homicide rate, I think this stat kind of says it all: https://bloximages.newyork1.vip.townnews.com/stltoday.com/content/tncms/assets/v3/editorial/1/94/194e030b-54e1-5c27-b108-90198e20b66c/5a404e48a349f.pdf.pdf

GuestDecember 11, 2019 at 8:39 pmThey lost my support when they said the police chief had to be consulted prior to owning a gun. No way. I’m pretty sure there are places in the U.S. that have something like that in place, but not in my home state of New Hampshire. Funny thing about that: New Hampshire has lower crime than just about anywhere in the U.S., especially those other places with police chief consultation.
