I’ve run into enough mag induced malfunctions that I won’t carry a Glock pmag for defense

I actually use Pmags with Steel Case Tula when out shooting in my back yard and I haven’t had one issue. Do they have a reputation of being a trash combo?

Don’t mean to change the subject but where’s a good place to get pmags at a fairly good price?

I actually use the Academy Monarch Steel on my Glock 45 with pmags and I’ve had maybe 1 out of 500 rounds fail to feed.

Honestly, I run steel and PMAGs all the time and I’ve never had an issue. I’ve shot thousands and thousands of steel case through my Glocks, but maybe I’m just lucky.

Magpul rifle mags are great. Magpul pistol mags, not so great.

Never had a problem with Pmags in thousands of rounds. But I don’t shoot trash ammo.

I have used a ton of Winchester and wolf steel in all sorts of mags. Its my go to when i want to bump fire as many mags as possible through my ar9. I cant remember having any failures. I spray them with a little case lube or oil before they go into the long clear ets mags though as they tend to bind otherwise

I’ve never used steel cased ammo period, does it do okay in Glock OEM mags?

Uhhh, I shot that exact combo with zero failures last time I was at the range 🤷🏻‍♂️

Then again, I did lightly oil the follower on the sides immediately before loading, then hand unloaded, then loaded again (to evenly spread the oil), so the oil prevented any dry plastic on dry plastic snags.

Honestly, I don’t know what all of you people out there are doing so wrong with guns, none of my shit malfunctions like it does for a lot of people on the internet. Are you seating your rounds to the back of the mag like you’re supposed to so the bullet isn’t rubbing against the front and dragging and causing the bullet to feed wrong?

Oh, and maybe it’s also because I use a Glock 17 which is the correct answer, all other variants are trying to shoehorn that design into too small of a slide travel. If you wanted reliable, the 17 is the one.

You could be limpwristing, too, Glocks like that less than almost any other handgun…

Edit: oh, I’m sorry, my bad for having a gun that works because I know what I’m doing. Enjoy your jams and whining.
