I am looking into buying shoes with spikes for slippery jetty fishing. Korkers are always brought up but whenever I search, I see the boots and the overshoe cleats. Some questions I have are…
* Should I buy the Korker shoes? Or should I buy another pair of cheaper shoes and just buy the overshoe?
* How do the felt bottoms work compared to the carbide spikes? I keep seeing how the felt are OK but then see people saying you need the spikes.

You NEED the spikes! Korkers are great, I can’t recommend them enough. I use them with an old pair of bootfoot waders on the jetty. You can also put them over workboots.

I’d buy a good pair of Tevas and the kinda spikes you can just screw right in. They sell these spikes separately.
You gotta air them dogs out while you can bro. It’s summer time.
