Hey there. I recently became interested in homemade firearms, and I’m just looking for any information about them. Builds, just random pics of them (I’ve been to that blog that posts a ton of pics with funny names), and ideas for them. I live in NYC so buying a gun is pretty much out of the question, and since homemade guns are legal (as far as I know) I’d like to build one – test it in PA (is it legal to take a homemade firearm across state lines?) – and bring it back for home defense.
I think my first build will be a slam shotgun using 20g shells. Has anyone built something similar?
**EDIT: I found out zip guns are illegal here. You dont need to tell me again**

Nothing about what you want to do sounds legal in NYC, but by all means, check out r/nyguns to run it by the locals and see what your legally available options look like

Have you considered non cartridge arms?
Some nice revolvers out there pretty cheap.
Or traveling into New Jersey to a gun show?
Homemade guns really aren’t as easy as some folks make them out to be.
