when I get peirced always say to the peircer to just do it don't count down or warn me same with injections

Got bored while watching cause I was tired and decided hey it's a great idea to use a flippin' safety pin to pierce my ear cause why not. It looks good and doesn't hurt. Can't wait to die of a blood infection. I'm such an idiot.

5:11 I understand being freaked out but if your ganna freak out abt it double think abt it BEFORE you go and have someone with you if you need/want an for the baby getting pierced a piercer wouldn’t even do my cartilage at 14 even tho I already had two or three other piercings there so why would you give a BABY a nose piercing..

YESSS about the healing process!! I had to have a titanium rod and two screws to repair my femur and no joke it took almost 3 years to heal. It was hell and I never got back to 100% because then my labrum tore in the hip on that same side a year later which then caused hip flexor issues that all were compounded by my original surgery lmao… why people think healing is "easy" or quick is so confusing to me.

3:29 I pierced my nose when I was 15 with the same shitty 3 dollar amazon piercing guns and the exact same thing happened. Broke halfway in my nose and I had to brute force the rest of it in with my fingers. It's been two years and it healed, but the piercing is irritated every other week and is painful when I so much as bump it in the wrong direction, even with cleaning.
Moral of the story: Never use those piercing guns. Even if it's only three dollars. If you're going to do it yourself, USE A PIERCING NEEDLE.

Ik everyone HATES Claire’s but when I went there I got my ears pierced and I used a gun touched them afterwards and twisted them (don’t hate me I was like 9) and they healed perfect ik im probably just lucky but there still open

I grew up with my dad and my grandma. My grandma wanted to get my ears pierced when I was a baby but my dad stood his ground they I couldn’t get them done until I was old enough to ask him myself. When I turned 5 I asked my dad to get my ears pierced and he told me over and over that it was gonna hurt and asked if I was sure. He made me wait for a year to make sure I was sure. He gave me clip on earrings and I loved them so I finally got them done. I was alittle young but I will forever appreciate my dad for waiting for me to want to get them. I got them done and after awhile my right ear rejected it and it hurt so so bad and I stopped wearing my earrings. I wanted to get them redone but he said no. When I turned 14 he took me to get them redone. He saved money to take me to a shop to get them redone with needles instead of a gun. They never got infected again and Im so glad my dad cared enough.

but i thought you have to spin your new piercings so if there is a bit of blood the blood will not dry not up and get you piercing stuck in your ear and thats what i did and my ear piercings are all fine they did not hurt and they healed very well

I really want facial piercings, but I don't think I'll get them for a few reasons.
One of which is my involuntary jump response to pain. I have to tense and brace my whole body to avoid majorly jumping when there's anything that might be painful (including IVs and shots). It's an involuntary response and I'd hate to get hurt or upset a piercer because of that reaction. (Obv, I would warn a piercer about that if I ever did decide to go through with getting one) -

I have a problem where I unconsciously fidget with my piercings I’m stretching my ears rn and I’m at 14g and it healing great I clean them every day and put stretching balm on them and it doesn’t cause me any issues or pain to fidget with them but should I stop tho?

roly please stop saying "I don't care where you're from or what your culture is" etc etc when telling people not to piece their children, it opens a door that can let in all sorts of racism and prejudice. you can say it's unethical to pierce your children without mentioning culture, it's a conversation we can and DO have ourselves and we do not need white people deciding they need to implement themselves into the conversation because they don't. just because you see little snippets of it happening on tiktok does not at all mean we are not smart enough or we are too uneducated for us to know it's wrong because it's "normalized" because there ARE people who know and are talking about it, you just don't see it becayse you are not a part of our community
