Optic question

With the release of the new Vortex Strike Eagle 5-25×56, the old 4-24×50 version can be had for under $400 ( seen it for $379 at a few different places ).

Any thoughts on this optic at that price point? I was otherwise considering a Leupold VX-3i 4.5-14×40 or Leupold Freedom 6-18×40.

( My goal isn’t competition, but mostly hunting with 300-800 yard recreational shooting )

I’ve had mine mounted on my Ruger precision for about 3 months and couldn’t be happier. Picked mine up from Eurooptic for $299, although I think they gone up a little since. Awesome for the $.
