I love my G22. You can buy a glock 17 Barrel, swap it in and run 9mm all day long.
    I do it in all my .40 all glocks. I have a 22, several 23s, and EDC a 27.
If you train enough with the 22 to handle the recoil effectively, You’ll be even more effective when shooting 9mm because 9 is easier to manage.

The 19 is a compact 9mm the 22 is full size 40. Not exactly apples to apples, having said that I’ve owned a couple of g22s and never had an issue “handling” them

The 19 and 23 are the same size and fit the hand the same. The 22 is the full size frame and has a slightly differenf f÷l in the hand. I prefer the 19/23 due to this. I’ve put a good number of rounds down range with all 3. The 40 does have snappy recoil compared to the 9mm.
