Hot damn. My jaw would be on the ground if I reeled in a doormat like that

Caught in coastal Georgia. She put up a long, hard fight on light spinning tackle so I was eager to get her back in the water. I wish I had measured and weighed her but I’m happy to say she swam away strong and healthy. Tight lines everyone.

The only thing better than keeping and cooking a flounder … is releasing it and watching it dart back out to the depths. Props on the CnR!

I tell you what man. It seems like it’s the smallest jigs that’s bring up the biggest surprises. All of the biggest ones I’ve caught have been on light jigs. Congrats!
