I recently started tying flies and my first nymph patter was the bead headed prince nymph. It came out really well! The problem is, I can’t get a fish to come anywhere near it. Now the river I fish at isn’t very rocky, there more sub fauna than anything. Could this be the reason? Maybe it’s getting lost in the weeds?
Thanks for any input!
