So I bought the Franchi Affinity 3 new the other day and I’ve shot about 50 rounds through it and I love it so far, but I have one issue/question, so when I put the shells in the bottom they don’t just slide in smooth like my old gun I bought used, they stop going smooth when it gets to the brass and I have to push really hard for it to insert all the way and it wouldn’t be a big issue but I grabs my thumb and fuckin hurts when I have to push that hard, is this a normal thing for new guns that smooths out or what’s the issue here? Any advice helps.

Does it do it on every shell? If not how many can you get in there before you start to struggle?

It’s just the latch, totally normal and it will smooth out a bit over time.

Fairly normal for new Benelli-esque inertia guns. It’ll wear in.

Look up Benelli thumb as well. Same thing on my new M1 Super 90, takes a bit of force to get the base over the shell latch.
