For what its worth….Anodization in general can have a high degree of color variation. There are many variables in the manufacturing process that can affect the end color from batch to batch. In fact, even within the same batch anodized parts can have color variation based on the substrates molecular structure. Many companies typically have a pass/fail color swatch for QC purposes because of this.

I’ve purchased two timney alpha triggers off eBay from reputable dealers. The one on the right has a blue tint (increased saturation to show it better). I emailed timney to see if they just had an adjustment in production or if this is a bad trigger/batch or even a fake. No reply yet.

Do any other timney owners have a blue tint?

Edit: timney emailed me back. Says it’s normal. “Anodizing is not a science but more of a art and sometimes there will be variations”

So basically I got a badass limited edition red white (silver) and blue timney alpha! MURICA

Timney does not manufacturer the trigger. They probably buy in bulk from a manufacturer and gets their logo stamped on it. I saw the same black/red trigger on ebay.
