Posting this here too, I also posted in the archery sub but thought i would extend to here.
Hi, newbie here. I had surgery about 6 months ago and have lost a lot of strength due to not being able to workout and shoot my bow. Now that I’m back able to do both of those, I cant pull back my bow. Currently shooting a compound bow with a draw weight of 60#.
Looking for advice. Would you just wait until you are stronger from working out to shoot it, or would you take it into the bow shop to drop it down to 50# and eventually ramp back up?
