Relatively new with posting to this community. Where should I go for the “open ended questions” banned in the rules?

Just as the title says, I’m looking for a place to post those sorts of questions. Example: I’m about to buy my first AR (Ruger MPR 556) and want other people’s opinions on the build.
The rules explicitly ban these sorts of questions, so help an idiot out and point me into he correct direction for those questions. Thanks
