Someone just answered the pricing question on another thread that said the msrp is $399. Curious what the price will be at the local gun shops.

So Glock’s new pistol announced today is a 22lr. But it only has 10 rd mags.

My honest opinion is that Glock phoned this one in. I think their thought process here is that people would like a 22 pistol the size of a 19 to practice with. But I think they dropped the ball when they had a chance to innovate.

The Kel Tec CP-33 is a 22lr pistol with 33 rd mags. That’s innovation and something I want.
Most 22 pistols have 10 rd mags because the single stack keeps it simple and feeds reliably in most cases. But playing it safe by doing the same old thing is boring and doesn’t make me want to buy one.

This is a let down, Glock. There was a huge opportunity here to respond to the CP-33, and you missed it. Horribly.

I am a Glock fan boy. No denying that. Glock disappointed us with the new G44. No denying that either. The only way they can try to recover from this is by quickly coming to market with reliable mags for this with higher capacity.

If it’s priced reasonably I’ll be buying one. And all you people complaining about the magazine it’s a Glock they’re going to have accessories. Somebody will make a 500 round magazine that only sticks out of the bottom of the grip a quarter inch.
