I was at a friends house in an open field. There were swarms of flies. All of a sudden swarms of dragonflies came in and started to feed. I pointed it out to my friend. He said wait five minutes and the swallows will show up. He was right, about five minutes later the swallows came in and dive bombed the dragonflies from above, picking them off. The air battle was over in about ten minutes total, the dragonflies scattered the, swallows left and the gnat or midges were gone.

In the thumbnail pic, he looks like a smiley face.

These are ancient creatures. Bugs look so unemotional, esp. when eating a struggling insect.

When I was first married my husband and I had just stepped out of my parents home by Lake Ontario Canada. Suddenly in the Driveway came Dragonfly's of all sizes, slowly at first then almost at the same time billions of flying ants suddenly surrounded us.
In a heartbeat the Air was thick with both. It was then what looked like rainfall was the Dragonfly's catching the ants and neatly biting off and eating the abdomens of the Ants in mid air as they flew in a frenzy, letting the wings and head fall to the ground like a gentle rain. You could see the scattered half bodies of the ants laying on the ground.
It was then I realized we were smack in the middle of a feeding frenzy,a War. The War lasted about ten minutes then filtered off. I realized we were in the right place at the right exact moment. The Dragonfly's knew and were waiting for the Flying Ants to emerge, their timing was impeccable and we were privileged to witness an event that usually goes unnoticed.

17:54 I REALLY hope people didn’t just drip honey onto the dragonfly for the shot. That would be messed up. But I get the feeling that’s what happened there…smh

Not even 15 seconds into this video the liar speaks of this world as a planet , God didn't create any planets. And he speaks as if this world has been here for millions of years. Thumbs down immediately for teaching lies like they teach in the schools.

Dragonfly eyes remind me of mantis shrimp eyes. Not the mobility of course, but the reflective quality to them.

Dragonflies are amazing! I was walking the dog and witnessed a dragonfly vs. bird dogfight. The dragonfly would hover casually and the bird would divebomb it. At the last moment, just before the bird nailed the dragonfly, the insect would move slightly and the bird would totally miss. The bird would recover, climb and line up for another divebomb, only to miss again. I watched for several minutes. The bird seemed to get more and more frustrated. The dragonfly just kept its cool and outmaneuvered the bird every time.
