I’m having a hard time deciding. Whilst the RC2 is quieter overall (according to Surefire) the SB2 would have less back-pressure due to being overbored, which could potentially better reduce noise levels at the ear?

I’m wondering which of these would provide the overall best experience for a piston-driven SBR with an adjustable gas system. Does anyone have any experience with both or wisdom on which might be the better pick?

SB is more for guns like 7.5

    RC2 is fine with a 10/10.3/10.5

The RC2 was designed to be a fairly low back pressure can due to the vented baffles etc so I’d go with an RC2. Plus you have an adjustable system so you can just turn the gas down more and get more suppression out of the gun.

Surefire recommends the SB2 for 10.5 and under
