If he swares upon oath or affirmation to uphold the U.S. Constitution and defend it against all enemies both foreign and domestic, then he better think twice before infringing upon arms. Infringe: to limit or encroach upon. He's a liar and law breaker if he breaks the 2nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. All limiting arms laws are illegal, we have the right to defend ourselves against tyranny when it arises. Corruption, twisted ideologies, lying, breaking sworn oath, evil.

Every U.S. citizen taking up arms will solve arms violence. The criminals will be too afraid to do crime if they see arms. Predators always prefer to hunt the weak and defenseless. I think that people should be disciplined by arms safety and legal uses of them by free classes such as the hunters safety course, etc.

WWWWOOOOOOOWWWWWWW Jake tapper found his back bone… wish you woulda had that back when your network held a "townhall" where a woman, a wife, a mother was attacked and had threats and obscenities hurled at her.

Fuck you Booker.. you racist fucking communist. Look at your district you all have strict gun laws but you'll have some of the highest gun violence in the country hypocrite. If you had any brains you would know if you let people have guns crime rate goes down. There's a study in prison they asked the inmates would you rob somebody or assault somebody with a gun and common Sense they all said no because they do not want to be shot. And the second amendment says the right to bear arms shall not be infringed.

Booker is a bought-and-paid-for, race-baiting, piece of crap who does his masters' bidding. A comprehensive plan? What a joke. This low-life is an idiot who is totally okay with taking away your individual liberties. Flush this brown turd down your toilet.

It’s funny that California is leading the way on gun control

    And mass shootings.

You may want to ask yourself why leftist controlled cities and states have the highest violence.

There are about 30,000 gun related deaths per year by firearms,
and this number is not disputed. Do the math: 0.0000925% of the population dies from gun related actions each year. Statistically speaking, this is insignificant! What is never told, however, is a breakdown of those 30,000 deaths, to put them in perspective as compared to other causes of death:

    • 65% of those deaths are by suicide which would never be

    prevented by gun laws

    • 15% are by law enforcement in the line of duty and

    • 17% are through criminal activity, gang and drug related

or mentally ill persons – gun violence

    • 3% are accidental discharge deaths

So technically, "gun violence" is not 30,000
annually, but drops to 5,100. Still too many? Well, first, how are those deaths spanned across the nation?

    • 480 homicides (9.4%) were in Chicago

    • 344 homicides (6.7%) were in Baltimore

    • 333 homicides (6.5%) were in Detroit

    • 119 homicides (2.3%) were in Washington D.C. (a 54%

    increase over prior years)

So basically, 25% of all gun crime happens in just 4 cities.
All 4 of those cities have strict gun laws, so it is not the lack of law that is the root cause.

This basically leaves 3,825 for the entire rest of the
nation, or about 75 deaths per state. That is an average because some States have much higher rates than others. For example, California had 1,169 and Alabama had 1.

Now, who has the strictest gun laws by far? California, of
course, but understand, so it is not guns causing this. It is a crime rate spawned by the number of criminal persons residing in those cities and states. So if all cities and states are not created equally, then there must be something other than the tool causing the gun deaths.

Are 5,100 deaths per year horrific? How about in comparison
to other deaths? All death is sad and especially so when it is in the commission of a crime but that is the nature of crime. Robbery, death, rape, assault all is done by criminals and thinking that criminals will obey laws is ludicrous. That's why they are criminals.

But what about other deaths each year?

    • 40,000+ die from a drug overdose–THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THAT!

    • 36,000 people die per year from the flu, far exceeding the
    criminal gun deaths

    • 34,000 people die per year in traffic fatalities(exceeding
gun deaths even if you include suicide)

    Now it gets good:

    • 200,000+ people die each year (and growing) from
preventable medical errors. You are safer in Chicago than when you are in a hospital!

    • 710,000 people die per year from heart disease. It’s time
to stop the double cheeseburgers! So what is the point? If Obama and the

anti-gun movement focused their attention on heart disease, even a 10% decrease
in cardiac deaths would save twice the number of lives annually of all

gun-related deaths (including suicide, law enforcement, etc.). A 10% reduction

in medical errors would be 66% of the total gun deaths or 4 times the number of

criminal homicides……Simple, easily preventable 10% reductions!

So you have to ask yourself, in the grand scheme of things,
why the focus on guns? It's pretty simple.:

Taking away guns gives control to governments.

The founders of this nation knew that regardless of the form
of government, those in power may become corrupt and seek to rule as the British did by trying to disarm the populace of the colonies. It is not difficult to understand that a disarmed populace is a controlled populace.

Thus, the second amendment was proudly and boldly included
in the U.S. Constitution. It must be preserved at all costs.

So the next time someone tries to tell you that gun control
is about saving lives, look at these facts and remember these words from Noah Webster: "Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed; as they are in almost every kingdom in Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops that can be, on any pretense, raised in the United States. A military force, at the command of Congress, can execute no laws, but such as the people perceive to be just and constitutional; for they will possess the power, and jealousy will instantly inspire the inclination, to resist the execution of a law which appears to them unjust and oppressive."

Democrats and LIBTARDS just want to DISARM law-abiding citizens so criminals can prey on them and the Democrats can ride into the rescue with "MORE GOVERNMENT" to solve the problem (they created).

I missed the point where he explained it was okay to resend the 2nd Amendment. Or at the very least make an argument for making new laws that aren't already on the books.

Guns + antidepressants = DEATH and MASS SHOOTINGS. Like…it's been proven time and time again on a mass shooting level. Abolish antidepressants now. Reperations for slavery while we're correcting unspeakable fuck ups like antidepressants being given to any human being, let alone children and geriatrics….for fucks sake…really? "antidepressants in 50 years will be seen by humanity as bloodletting…."
    – Dr. Irving Kirsch of Harvard
Wake up call folks….ssri's aka antidepressants were proven to be placibo by their maker's….the maker's of ssri's aka antidepressants once got sued by the state of New York for a billion dollars….for hiding their own trial test results that…you guessed it…that showed ssri's aka antidepressants to be placibo….with deadly fuckin side effects….shown on the black box warning of antidepressants…..warnings by the makers….warning of suicidal ideation and violence…..yeah….give THAT GUY ON SSRI'S….a couple guns….look up seritonan toxicity aka serotonin syndrome. ….look it up please? Hey…give that famous singer antidepressants while she's in rehab…that will fuckin' work….heyyy….that actor feels really down after the show got cancelled….despite his heavy drinking….just give him an antidepressant….which becomes deadly to the taker when mixed with alcohol and street drugs….hey….give em to that elderly guy who feels a little down after surgery…cause they shorten the elderly person's life….great idea…"ask your doctor to explain how ssri's work…they can't" – Dr. Irving Kirsch. Antidepressants are now proven to be addictive to 33% of those on them. The withdrawal often ends in suicide, homicide or both. Let's keep letting guns get sold to people on antidepressants? Really? Lotta people gonna go jail when shit hits the fan for pharma and all complicit doctors prescribing ssri's aka antidepressants which are nothing more than bull shit placibo with deadly side-effects of suicidal ideation and violence. Prove me wrong? Troll my shit…give it your best. You got a loved one on antidepressants aka ssri's? You don't love them if you allow them to take that deadly hoax of made up chemicals. Depressed. Change your diet. Go to talk therapy. Only one in ten psych md's see patients….9 in ten just write prescriptions….research "stacking of prescriptions"….why do most on antidepressants….also get hooked on benzo's and other psychotropics? "Stacking" one drug….on top of another….until your loved one's want to leave you in psych ward because the psych md has no answers… Well the psych md can't be at fault. Nor can pharma for the misrepresentation of antidepressants aka ssri's as a cure of sorts for depression….which they most certainly are not. Any famous person you know who went to rehab…if they took ssri's like robin williams…how's they doing? One of my friends on ssri's jumped out of a moving car. ..she lived….will you? Why did Dr. Peter Breggin get death threats when exposing antidepressant makers fraud and deceit? Why would pharma hide their own test results? Are billion dollar companies like pharma, above the law preventing them accountability for wrongful deaths from antidepressant use?

Tapper continues to use the myth, that Americans can buy "Assault weapons" or what he really means, is rifles that look "sort of" like military guns. Even though there is NO countries on the Earth that use semi automatic rifles in their armies. How about the DOJ and every AG investigate and hang every criminal caught with a gun. With 35,000+ gun laws, enforce what they have written already. Booker lied with his fake statistics, crime( and gun crimes) have been going down every year for several decades, and by coincidence, gun ownership has tripled.

7:20 seconds when he's talking about the only people that have to worry about him are the gun runners, criminals and the corporate gun lobby
So?……………. the criminals should be worried about the legislation he is trying to bring
Because criminals worry about the laws they break?

I so wanted to vote for you Mr. Booker.

But your entire body language has gone into "deer in headlight" mode.

This country needs bold, fearless, and willing.
You seem to have lost that.

You're now coming across as extremely nervous.
You're no answer answers are even making you fidget.

    Quit biting your lip.

    Man up!!!!…..
    tell the truth.
    Answer the questions.

    It's your only chance.

    Now dammit man….
    Let's do this thing.👍

    Fk it.
    Never mind.
I've got better things to do for the next 5 years than to beg you to be fearless, direct, and unwaivering, and firm…
everytime you get caught in headlights and start biting your lip.

    You just lost my vote.
    You're not ready.
And I'm too old to see 1 more learn on the job.👎

now you've even got me considering voting Trump 2020!!😖

I cannot stand politicians like Corey Booker. Simple, straight forward questions lead to him going off topic and rambling. I appreciate Jake for trying, but people need to start holding politicians on both sides of the aisle to a higher standard for question answering.

Person commits an act of violence with a gun. Politics and media blame guns… what did the gun just pick itself up and go around shooting people?

The only thing that solves gun violence is more guns in the hands of law abiding citizens in the name of self defense.
