Glad you figured out it was the firing pin! I have an upper from 22mods but I knew better than to get their bcg 😉

Is it eating everything now that youve fixed it!?

I just bought mine 2day and I was told not to use TulAmmo. Something to do with the primer and their striker.

I'm about to order a gun from 22mods4all I've seen quite a few bad review though. I might start looking elsewhere.

I finally gave mine a go ran 200ish rounds of tula no issue's. Didn't clean it had a failure to eject an a second round went to feed creating a stuck casing, was able to remove that one. After another 100 or so rounds same thing, However this time I wasn't able to remove it. So it's going to the smith for removal. I'd say tula will work in these rifles However I have to further investigate what caused these issues. 200 rounds without cleaning shouldn't cause any failures imo. I plan to run it with steel for the next 500 or so and I'll report back with my results. I was getting 3.5-4moa at 100 with tula with a vortex 1-6x which i personally think is decent for this budget upper however bear creek does claim 1 moa so i will eventually play around with ammo for it.

Isn't it well known that tula has hardened primers?

My 22modsforall upper doesn’t like to chamber 300 blackout through GI mags , but works just fine with Pmags

You need to run your gun wet to get that tula crap shooting.

Is the barrel on the bearcreek ar 16" or 14.5". Also what rail is on it.

I had the same issue this year with the same upper receiver from them and it wasn't the ammo. I turned out to be the gas block being loose. Now the ammo he is using does suck. But the part where it isn't cycling is probably a gas issue.

You do know that every gun has a brand of ammo that won't work. You'd have a better result if you make another one with the same parts. And we'd have a better review to watch. Plus steelcase ammo isn't really good for ARs. You may be confused with the AK platform. I'm sure there's an ammo type or brand your bear creek can't fire. I have the issue with my handguns. Then again, handguns are more prone to jams. But still the same rules apply.

sounds like you need to turn your trigger spring around. if the spring is backwards, it will barley tap the primer. some will shoot but not all. i had the same issue. i put the trigger spring in the wrong way

Quit buying Tula, that's your fist problem right there. Because for just a dollar more you can get quality brass ammo from American Eagle at your local Walmart. Besides that Tula ammo really ruins your rifle. Secondly polish up your feed ramps. Take some time out of your day get you some good 400 or 600 grit sandpaper and get to work on it. You'l notice alot less feeding issues.
