Typical anti-gun bullshit. All propaganda, no basis in reality.

Yeah, because there is now zero gun violence in California after the arbitrary ammo licence restrictions.

    >”assault weapons”

Actually the term is “semi-automatic assault rifle” as per I1639..

So, between I1639 and the 10 other bills the legislature passed last year (this year, 2019, whatever), we still aren’t finished?? Really??

Per the fbi, there were only 2 murders via these evil “semi-automatic assault rifles” in WA in 2018…

Democrats campaign for universal healthcare, climate change, drugs (prescription and illegal), homelessness, income inequality, and the first thing on the list is….. gun control?

Seriously, guns are the biggest issue for the state?? Really?

Speaking of I1639 and “millions of NRA dollars”:

From the information on the campaign finances for initiative I1639 https://ballotpedia.org/Washington_Initiative_1639,_Changes_to_Gun_Ownership_and_Purchase_Requirements_Measure_(2018): of the $4.02 million dollars raised for the initiative, $3.45 million came from three billionaire families (Paul Allen, Nick Hanauer and Wife, and Steve Ballmer and his wife) and Everytown For Gun Safety, Michael Bloomberg’s gun-control lobbying arm, donated another $250,000. **That’s 92% of all of the funds for the initiative and over 24 times what the NRA had donated to fight it.**

As a Canadian they’re considering banning all semis right now due to something that happened 30 years ago. With “mandatory buybacks” aka confiscation. Don’t let it as bad as we have, your rights will be chipped away bit by bit.

I think more people die getting struck by lightning than in school shootings, so maybe we gotta do more of those tornado drills.

Murder rates are lower than they were during the awb. Statistically murders committed in Washington state by rifles of any kind can be counted on one hand. They make up ~3% of gun murders annually.

These laws are anti-science, anti-fact, and their supporters should be ridiculed as ignorant knuckle draggers

An analogy they could understand would be like sweeping bans on electric vehicles because they can blow up.

Just a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist in any statistically meaningful way

If a parent spends 300 dollars on a bullet proof backpack they are retarded. Buy 300 powerball tickets because there’s a higher likelihood they win significant money than there is their kid getting shot and killed in a school.

We fought fascists and communists last century. Yet here we are facing a tyranny arising in one of our own political parties.

I feel like adding a 10/22 to an assault weapons ban just adds insult to ignorant injury, you know?

When did tornado drills start? Tornados should be banned.
