I would like some more people’s insight and knowledge of determining a guns worth before selling it. Thank you all for any and all information.

Look on GunBroker and see what similar guns are selling for (not list prices, actual sales prices.)

Then I don’t sell my guns.

It’s hard. I follow gun deals, gun accessories for sale, and armslist. Take about $50 off of the absolute best deal you can find new and that’s close

Apparently all the pawn shops in my area go on GunBroker and hit sort by price: highest first.

There’s two ways. One, you put it on Armslist for twice retail and tell anyone who bitches “I know what I got”. Two, start at about 80% retail and just drop it 10% a week till it sells or hits your rock bottom price. In my experience, most people go with option one.

If it is a commodity firearm, you can use Gunbroker completed auctions to find out what it is worth. Or, go to your local gun store and see what they are selling for locally.

If it is a unique firearm, it is harder to find out the value.

I usually just put a price on and say “open to negotiation”. I have an AR on nextech rn for $580 but I’d take $530 if it was cash.

Look on GunBroker for prices then sell on Armslist. Also please don’t buy century ak’s, get a Wasr-10.
