Just curious how everyone takes their stuff the range. Ive got a YHM Turbo T2, 300 blk Form 1 and a 9mm Form 1. I’m a little paranoid of throwing them in the range bag. Should I get a dedicated case, or quit being paranoid and have them bounce around in the range bag?

If a dedicated case, what do you recommend?

Not to be snarky, but I generally just have them on their respective guns.

I have a 50 cal tall ammo can with foam cut out for each suppressor. But i do need to modify it for two more cans. It also holds all my spare parts and bits and pieces for the suppressors.

Stick in hair straightener sleeve since they are very heat resistant, stick in range bag. Wham bam

If your can cant handle being in the range bag it probably isn’t worth having honestly

My Surefire can came with a pouch for it. I either put it in the pouch then put it in the gun case or I put it on the gun and into the case. Most of the time I just put it in the pouch and toss it into the range bag. The surefire instructions for getting unstuck from carbon lock is to launch it down range so I’m pretty sure it’ll survive the range bag.

Knock-off pelican case from harbor freight. 30 bucks. Water tight, preinstalled foam, and easy to remove foam to organize everything

Oof! Keep them on the guns or just throw them in the range bag.

On the guns, tossed into the truck or softcase. They’re a lot tougher than optics, and no need to take optics off when transporting. Also, don’t worry about carbon lock.

If they’re going to be in a place where you may get something inside them (empty brass, sticks, skittles, etc) then throw them in whatever you have around. Old socks, etc.

If you want to have a nice pelican case with cutouts, by all means go for it. Do what makes you happy…. but as someone who has transported one or two cans, I can’t stand giant heavy cases for everything—- just takes up too much room.

As costly as they are, they’re just another tool. I have a pelican with custom foam insert that’s basically pointless because they live on their respective guns…

The last time I went to the range with my cans, I tossed them all into a Wal-Mart plastic bag.
