I like the GOA’s no compromise stance. As gun owners we have given up so much yet get nothing back.

The NRA has “compromised,” as in they’ve gotten bills to be not as strong as some would have liked in the past, but we don’t really ever get anything because the anti-gun later just goes to do what they decided not to do a bill ago.

I would like to see the ILA arm of the NRA go away and they go back to full focus on safety, training, and the shooting sports. Because they’re never going to go to a no compromise stance and let’s be honest, there isn’t much left for “compromise.” Let groups like GOA and the others handle lawsuits and lobbying.

Also, don’t forget your state groups. They’re very, very important because the NRA, GOA, etc. can get spread thin and might focus on one thing and then don’t have the funds to help at a state level.

NRA just gave Wayne IDGAF about the 2a LaPierre a huge raise. They supported and even proposed the bump stock ban that turned tens of thousands of law abiding citizens into felons who could face 10 years. They were mute when Trump called for red flag confiscation in violation of the 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 6th amendments.

    GOA all the way

GOA is great, but you’ll get spam from both of them. Although GOA occasionally has actionable items they send out.

FPC, SAF, and DefDist are all spot on though.

GOA is the go to for me.NRA needs to get a set of balls and get a lot more aggressive. The last 8 years has been a total disappointment.

Side note, Second Amendment Foundation is pretty serious business about protecting the right to bare arms, on issues that are more than just firearms and I appreciate the hell out of that.

The NRA are compromising fuckwits, especially when it comes to the police vs. minorities.

The GOA is much better, but is overshadowed by the former.
