What percentage of LEO do you guys think could make any of these shots, cold, under duress?
Personally, the only ones I know who could, are the very few who shoot competitively, or fewer who are SWAT and Train frequently.

The cop in the bottom left-hand corner … 3rd from the left … he’s getting friendly fire pension.

Accuracy by volume isn’t a good choice in rush hour traffic

Reminds me of the shit show in Houston of the Harding Street Raid, where 2 cops were arrested and Chief Acevedo changed his story.

I saw the video and the ups driver slides out still under the robbers body and the cops keep shooting until he stops moving too

The premise of duress really cannot be applied here because we do not know if the advancement of the police set the pace for the gunfight. If the police had kept distance, there is a good possibility that the bad guys wouldn’t have engaged. I am by no means defending the bad guys, but there is a certain order of operations during a hostage situation. One of those is to not kill the hostage.

No shots should have been fired. Period.

I’m wondering if the cops would have fired the way that they did if another cop was the hostage instead of a ups driver.

School shooting: “ don’t blame the gun, you can’t blame the gun!”

Shootout with dangerous criminal: “ it’s the cops fault it’s the cops fault”

Those Leo’s were trying to protect those innocent civilians. We’re mistakes made? Yes but in that situation what else could have been done??? If it took you more than a half a second to answer that question stfu!!!!!!!

Horrible tragedy made even worse by law enforcement. It’s easy to point the finger and say how to do it better, I get that. But everything about this was handle poorly by law enforcement. Very sad.

They really should have had 2-3 police trained to take those shots in crowded areas with ar15’s, take those shots. Not 10 police firing randomly in a hail of bullets at targets they didn’t even have line of sight on. The average distance there is only like 10-15 yards though. Sad really, when you see the truck.
