    My 11 yr old son took his first turkey on opening day of youth season with my old Savage single shot 20 ga. We were on stand for about 45minutes when I called in 3 turkeys. He made an excellent head shot at 30 yards, only 3 pieces of shot in the breast. Other than the day he was born, one of my proudest moments. 9" beard and spurs just over 3/4".
