Can’t go wrong with a RMR or 507C Holosun if you’re gonna use it for carry or defensive purposes. They are the only 2 that seem to hold up to abuse. If it’s just a range toy it opens up a lot other manufacturers, Swampfox makes some killer looking dots for a very fair price, although you get so much more for a little bit more cash with holosun, the multiple reticles and side load tray is why I picked it over the RMR and it’s half the cost lol
for irons the XS tritium Big dot is awesome, ameriglo tritium, trijicon. Isn’t your magwell is already flared factory on a gen 5. I tried an extended slide release but ended up going back to factory because I drop the slide inadvertently on every last round because of how I grip it. I also went back to stock on the mag release.
