My main reason for running offset irons is to quickly switch to 1x faster than flipping the magnifier, and to at least have something if/when the battery dies on my red dot. Personally, I think a canted dot looks a bit too cluttered on the weapon as a whole. But to each their own, as long as you’re training and demonstrating all the fundamentals of safety thats all that really matters
