Lots of personal preference involved. You’ll find out what you’re happy to carry around hunting and what you’re not, once you’ve gotten into it. Tactical rigs are great to shoot, often not so much to carry.
I’d be looking at a Tikka or Lithgow in something like 243 – light recoiling since you probably aren’t going to be able to suppress – and topped with a decent optic like a VX5 that allows you to do everything you listed.
That’ll probably end up cheaper overall than the Schmidt & Bender scope on its own.
