    Depends on how you view your costs and expenses with initial setup for the press, dies, case prep equipment. If you’re counting that, your break even will be much higher.

    You can find brass online or use your own
    You can find projectiles online and in some stores.
    You can find powder online.
    You can’t find primers anywhere except online. This is the choke point. A box of 1000 will run you more than $200 for small rifle or large rifle (depending on your brass). Some go online as high as $300. If you get lucky, you can find a brick of 1000 for $75 from midway usa for $75, plus 10-12 tax plus shipping, plus hazmat fee, all in, call it < $110.

    This shortage of primers and powder appears to be correcting itself over the last couple months, with some very limited availability in big box chains.
