Yes, you will save money reloading 6.5 vs reloading 308 in that bullets are cheaper, and you use slightly less powder per cartridge. Equipment costs are the same. Brass is a bit more expensive, but is also available free or cheap if you have saved your factory cases, or have a source of 1F brass.
Unpopular opinion… the main reason to reload 6.5 is for increased precision. Any money saved is usually obviated by shooting more, as everybody has stated.
