It lets you shoot more for the same money. So if you would spend $20 on 20 factory rounds you can make 35 rounds (just an example not an exact amount).
So saving money is up to you. You can still shoot just 20 rounds and do it for cheaper or you can shoot 35.
But the cool thing is that if you do it right, you can make much more consistent rounds than you can buy.
Right now some components are hard to find for reasonable prices, especially primers.
Don’t forget to factor in the costs of getting a press and the other equipment that you’ll need to do it. Whether it’s worth it is up to you but it can be very rewarding.
