What we commonly refer to as the “Baby Nine” is a completely different animal. The wall thickness if the 380 is HALF the thickness of a 9, thus the outside diameter is smaller than a 9.
Be careful when you flare the case mouth. I have buckled a lot of 380 case walls because the flaring tool had the slightest bit of resistance when flaring.
Dont get me wrong, I love reloading. The 380 is a pain in the butt to reload. That being said, I would still rather reload it than buy factory new. Enjoy the learning curve.
